The Systems Engineering Undergraduate Program at the University of Lima organizes and presents the 7th International Conference on Systems Engineering (CIIS 2024) entitled \u201cExtended Reality and Serious Games in Education, Competitiveness and Wellbeing.\u201d<\/p>

CIIS 2024 will adopt a hybrid format and will be held on the campus of the University of Lima from October 28th to 30th, 2024. This edition of the conference will include a presentation forum and discussion about research focused on extended reality and serious games, keeping open the inclusion of papers relevant to the main core topics. Likewise, the presentations will address these topics from the approach of computer science, information systems, software engineering and information technologies. software engineering<\/em> y las tecnolog\u00edas de la informaci\u00f3n.<\/p>

In this edition, the conference will focus on extended reality (XR), a term that encompasses immersive technologies such as virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR) and mixed reality (MR), which superimposes a virtual layer on the real world, thus allowing digital and virtual objects such as audio, video and data to enrich our interaction with the environment through specialized devices. These experiences, inaccessible under normal conditions or due to resource limitations, become possible thanks to these advanced technologies. Furthermore, serious games stand out for their approach because, although they are designed and implemented according to traditional game design rules, their goal is the dissemination of knowledge, educational development and improvement of specific skills.<\/p>

In addition to the characteristic presentations of the conference, we will be honored by the presence of prominent international speakers who will share their visions and perspective on the proposed topics.<\/p>

It is important to note that the idioms of the conference are English and Spanish, ensuring a diverse and inclusive environment for all participants.<\/p>

CIIS 2024 scientific committee cordially invites you to submit papers that offer innovative research proposals within the thematic areas of the conference.<\/p>
